Making School Spirit Functions Mandatory

Yes we know that the school wants our support when it "marches into battle" but seriously what is up with the you can not sit in the library during a rally rule, if you force everyone to go to rallies people will not like them. Rallies are supposed to be fun, and they are, but everybody has days when the do not want to deal with all that, YAY!, energy so why force them to go. The simple answer, the teachers have to be there and so they do not want kids on campus if they can not. Also the school is having to pay the electrical bill for the speakers, and whatever else is run, and nobody wants to pay that money and then only have eight kids besides those in the rally show up.
